DEDUCT YOUR DONATIONS FROM YOUR TAXES

If you give CHF 100.- Swiss Francs or more throughout the year, you can deduct your donation from your taxes. The amount of your federal, cantonal and municipal taxes will be reduced:

In the canton of Geneva: it could reach 20% of a physical person’s net income and 20% of a company’s net profit.

In the canton of Vaud: it could reach 20% of the net income deducted from the deductions and 20% of a company’s net profit.

Each sponsor will automatically receive on time their yearly donation certificate that will have to be attached to their tax return.

TRANSPARENCY AND ETHICS

In the frame of its actions that aims to raise funds in the private sector, the Foundation commits itself to not accepting the support from the companies of which the activity would not conform to its values or to its ethic:

Tobacco industry
Sex industry
Weapon industry

Also controlling the source under a notary control as well as a bank control within the anti-money-laundering law, if a donation is over CHF 10’000.- Swiss Francs.

Since BIG is a non-profit Foundation and has a volunteer board, it makes sense that the board will be rigorous, transparent and impartial in its management of the Foundation’s resources, donations and its internal management.
